21 and 22 September: On the occasion of the 2024 European Heritage Days, the Museum of the Castle of Laàs welcomes you for unprecedented visits entitled «Travel in the collection of the castle of Laàs».

The essence of a heritage is to be in motion, to change hands, places. the Museum of the Castle of Laàs honors the itinerary of the couple Serbat, fervent collectors, and last private owners of the castle. From Parisian fans, to Norman cabinets through the silk carpets of Isfahan, we can only admire the impressive cabinet of curiosity that has gathered the couple. These objects of art, gathered in the heart of Béarn, testify to a life of travel, distilled between the Hainaut, Paris and Normandy.

It also offers a creative family workshop where everyone can decorate a fan, like the emblematic works of our collection. At the end of this activity, you will be able to leave with your unique creation, a testimony of your participation in this cultural celebration.

June 3: As part of the “Rendez-vous aux jardins”, the guides of the Château de Laàs Museum offer you a 1h30 guided tour of the estate’s gardens.
16 and 17 of September: To mark the 2023 “Journées Européennes du Patrimoine” (European Heritage Days), the Museum unveils a captivating exhibition entitled “Artists and models, women throughout history”. This special exhibition explores the role of women in the art of painting, both as objects of representation and as painters themselves.

4 and 5 June: As part of the “Rendez-vous aux jardins” national event, we offer a 1.5-hour guided tour on the theme of climate change by a dedicated tree specialist.

9 to 11 September: The Museum is present at the “Foire de Pau” show during the “tous en famille” weekend.

17 and 18 September: Original visits are available as part of the European Heritage Days

April 8: For its reopening, Le Château des Énigmes invites you to its Egg Hunt in the park of the estate.
June 10 and 11: The Château des Enigmes organizes the Fairy Days of the Château de Laàs. On the program: magic show, balloon sculpture, nature workshop and magic plants, local legends, sword fight, show on a wire, Béarn dances and songs, face painting for children… and much more!

“24 September: Cabanes du Temps Suspendu are hosting the “”Insects and Starry Skies”” evening organised by the CPIE Béarn and the Frêne association! In the frame of the “”48 hours of Nature””.
29 to 31 October: The game trail and Escape Game offer activities for Halloween, including wand-making workshops and themed evening events.”
